this morning i was falling
down upon my knees
3am i’m down again help me please
.
getting up i fill my cup
with denial despair and defeat
fill it up and drink it up and repeat
.
since she went away
im drowning in these man sized boots
and one, two, many shoddy mungo suits
but nothing seems to fit
doctor says you’ll grow out of it
c’est au revoir to ma vie en rose
.
white noise and red eyed boys
trying to drown away my blues
but in my dreams my scenes have violet hues
while in my mind self hate and violence rule
.
it’s only 3am
i’m on my knees again
i’m begging please, my friend
don’t let me freeze
.
save me from this masquerade
.
